| Sarah Palin.... | | johnlewis - 09-27-2008 19:01:22 | Why do you think she has generated so much interest and enthusiasm?
I think it's because of her "genuineness". She seems like one of us. The "professionals" in DC haven't done a good job, so it's refreshing to see someone that is not a lawyer, who's whole life has been aiming toward elected office. (All civil posts will be allowed to remain) Her appeal and game changing power have not been seen in a long time....Your thoughts. | | LKN - 09-27-2008 19:02:56 | Barack Obama had some of this power, but the "game" didn't change with him in it. For example, his margin over Hillary was very small. Sarah brought 5-10 points with her selection, which is very unusual for a VP. I do think it's so refreshing to see someone who is just a citizen, (vs a politian) and passes the common sense test....most of what she says makes sense, which is very rare today.
