Event Details PTA-Too 5K & Fun Run Date: 4/18/2009 Time: 8:00 am to 8:00 am Location: Huntersville Family Fitness & Aquatics (View Map) Description: Davidson Elementary’s PTA-Too's "Run Too Overcome" 5K Run/Walk & Kids Fun Run benefiting 7 Charlotte Mecklenburg elementary schools Exceptional Children's Programs will be held on Saturday, April 18th, 2009 at Huntersville Family Fitness and Aquatics 11725 Verhoeff Rd., Huntersville. (An Exceptional Child is a child with any disability, disorder, delay, behavior, attention or sensory problem which hinders the ability to learn.) The 5K Run/Walk starts at 8am; $25 pre-race, $30 race day. The Kid’s Fun run starts at 9am at Huntersville Athletic Park, 11720 Verhoeff Rd., Huntersville; $15 pre-race, $20 race day. CMS employees fees are $15 with identification. All participants receive a t-shirt. There are awards in 5 year age groups from 0-70+. Children receive medals. Parents may run with their child. Local non-profit organizations will have booths with free information. Financial aid is available. Go to www.queencitytiming.com , then click on race calendar to locate and register for the race.
