Event Details Lake Norman Orchestra Date: 5/17/2008 Time: 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm Location: Peninsula Baptist Church, 687 Brawley School Road, Mooresville (View Map) Description: Lake Norman Orchestra will present a free concert to celebrate its fifth anniversary and thank the Mooresville community for its ongoing support. The program will include a variety of music, including the premier performance of "Lake Dance", newly commissioned to mark this milestone. The composer is Mooresville Native Dr. William G. Harbinson, who will guest conduct. A Meet-the-Composer reception will follow the performance. This event culminates a day of festivities as part of the "Race City Festival - A Celebration of Mooresville Arts and Culture" sponsored by the MSI Chamber.
