Event Details Independence Day Celebration Date: 7/3/2008 Time: 11:00 am to 2:30 pm Location: South Iredell Senior Center (View Map) Description: All senior adults are invited to enjoy a celebration of Independence Day. The fun and fellowship starts at 11 a.m. with a covered dish picnic luncheon. Be sure to bring a basket full of those Fourth of July favorites. After everyone fills their tummy, sit back and enjoy the entertainment. Festivities include a pie baking contest with the winner receiving a $10 gift certificate. Everyone gets to be a judge and vote. Other fun activities include a spoon race, watermelon seed spitting contest, Wii Game, and more. Don’t miss the fun.
