Event Details SISC Computers Date: 1/28/2008 until 4/14/2008 Time: 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm Location: Mitchell Community College (View Map) Description: Seniors have the opportunity to take a basic beginning computers class as part of a collaborating effort between South Iredell Senior Center and Mitchell Community College. Seniors are reminded that they may use the computer lab at the Senior Center for practice anytime outside of class during operating hours. Please call ahead. March 28-30 (3 days & two nights)come marvel at the beauty as this trip takes you to Georgia for the Macon Cherry Blossom Festival. We’ll drive through Athens with towering oaks and elms, fragrant magnolias, old fashion boxwood gardens, and many well-preserved antebellum homes which characterize this lovely city. See magnificent historical homes, in Madison, the “town Sherman refused to burn.” Enjoy balcony seating at an elegant black tie event complete with live music at Macon’s Cherry Blossom Ball. Embark on a tour of the countryside, viewing thousands of blooming Yoshino Cherry Trees. Visit the dynamic Georgia Music Hall of Fame. Enjoy lunch at the Blue Willow Inn in Social Circle Georgia, featuring the finest southern cooking in America (so says Southern Living magazine).
