Event Details Valentines Dance Date: 2/15/2012 until 2/15/2013 Time: 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm Location: south iredell senior center (View Map) Description: Bring your sweetheart or best friend and join in the fun at South Iredell Senior Center on Fri., Feb. 15 from 5:30-8 p.m. Come have fun, fellowship, make new friends, and enjoy delicious food. Everyone is invited to the festivities whether you dance or not. Please bring your favorite snack or finger food to share and be sure to bring serving containers and utensils. Admission is $1. Market shoppers young and old may compete by launching watermelon seeds from their mouths for the furthest distance. And Market vendors will have an opportunity to compete against each other in their very own category. Buy your watermelon slice for $1; find the perfect spitting seed, step on up and let it rip! Volunteer judges will take special care in measuring each contestant’s seed-spitting distance. There will be categories for contestants young and old. Each category will be awarded 1st and 2nd place prizes!
