Tai Chi may help some individuals to improve high blood pressure, balance, muscle tone, circulation, flexibility, aching backs and joints. It has even helped some to lose weight. Mike Gentile, a certified physical trainer and AF instructor, and Reiki master will teach a Tai Chi class starting Monday, Dec. 1 from 11 a.m. – noon. He will also offer a beginner’s class starting Dec. 8 from 12:15-1:15 p.m. Cost is $36 per person for the six week session. Group will be lead by Dr. Vicki Webb, Self-love Instructor & Awareness Coach. Vicki teaches the annual Teen Girls Self-esteem Workshop at Ahlara Spa in July. Group meets the first Tuesday of every month beginning Feb. '08. No charge. A $5 room fee donation will be helpful.
