Description: Bring your sweetheart or best friend and join in the fun at South Iredell Senior Center on Fri., Feb. 15 from 5:30-8 p.m. Come have fun, fellowship, make new friends, and enjoy delicious food. Everyone is invited to the festivities whether you dance or not. Please bring your favorite snack or finger food to share and be sure to bring serving containers and utensils. Admission is $1. The Senior Center provides all paper goods. The Dance is open to all senior adults. Caregivers welcome.

Description: Travel on a 55 passenger motorcoach to the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee where you will spend two refreshing nights in a Smoky Mountain area hotel. The first night you will enjoy a delicious dinner and the brand-new Smoky Mountain Opry Show. This show brings the heart and soul of music onstage with its fabulous high-energy entertainment, featuring spectacular singing, outstanding choreography, and thrilling special effects. On day two you will begin the day with the Country Jamboree Breakfast Variety Show featuring the Blackwoods. You are in for a real treat when you meet this fabulous family, with their distinctive blend of talents. The Blackwood family has won 8 Grammy Awards, 27 Dove Awards, and 5 All American Awards. After a delicious breakfast sit back and enjoy the harmonious sounds and hilarious comedy of the Blackwoods! This afternoon, you’ll visit Historic Old Mill Square with its unique shops. In the evening, you will have a fabulous meal and a theatrical extravaganza at the Hatfield-McCoy Dinner Theatre, the Romeo and Juliet of the Mountains…with Blue Grass Country Music, singing and dancing with hilarious comedy and fun. On day three following a continental breakfast, your morning will be brightened with the Patty Waszak Show. This talented entertainer will wow you by playing an array of 30 instruments and fun-filled tunes. Join us for this fun-filled trip and the cool breeze of the Smoky Mountains. Cost is $249 per person based on double occupancy only. If interested please make a $20 deposit per person to SISC by April 13.

Description: Charlotte Motor Speedway will make Bruton Smith Boulevard roar to life with some of the fastest and most powerful machines on the planet when the Parade of Power thunders down the popular thoroughfare to roll out the speedway’s Fall Season of Speed. The parade will include vehicles representing all of the events planned at the legendary superspeedway complex throughout the fall, including a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series car, an NHRA Top Fuel dragster, a World of Outlaw sprint car, a monster truck and many more. NASCAR and NHRA drivers, including Joey Logano, Erica Enders and Doug Herbet will take part in the event, which will also include an autograph session and driver Q&A following the parade.
